James Leggett

With more than twelve years of experience in market research, James has helped private schools and education providers across the United States and internationally make confident, evidence-based decisions.

As a member of the Market Research Society, James stays up to date with the latest tools and methods that deliver deeper insight for his clients. He is known for translating complex data into clear and actionable intelligence that supports leadership teams.

James leads with collaboration and openness, creating a culture built on trust and results. He is dedicated to providing every client with meaningful analysis and recommendations that guide long-term success.

His approachable style makes client conversations both productive and enjoyable. Outside of work, James can often be found playing guitar, driving with the MG and Alfa Romeo Car Club, or spending time with his two young children.

Daniel Cohen

Director of Business Development
Daniel brings more than twenty years of commercial business experience and a lifelong enthusiasm for education. He enjoys connecting with school leaders to identify how MTM’s research and consulting expertise can help them reach their goals.

With a deep understanding of MTM’s capabilities, Daniel tailors each project to meet every client’s unique objectives. He ensures that every insight and recommendation is practical, focused, and ready to support strong decision-making at leadership level.

Known for his strategic mindset and client-first approach, Daniel takes pride in helping schools use data to uncover new opportunities for growth. When he is not working with clients, he enjoys spending time with his family or watching a football match with friends.

Emily Hargest

With more than a decade of experience in private schools and a professional background in healthcare, Emily understands what drives effective marketing and enrollment results.

At MTM USA, she is passionate about helping Marketing and Admissions teams use research and insight to achieve measurable success. Creative and energetic, Emily enjoys solving complex challenges while ensuring that every campaign is rooted in data and strategy.

When she is not working, Emily loves exploring her local community with her family. A lifelong beach enthusiast with Cornish roots, she can usually be found near the coast, enjoying the sea air in any weather.

Alison Hewitt

MChemData Analyst
A chemistry graduate with a strong foundation in research, Alison combines analytical precision with a curiosity for uncovering meaningful trends in data. Her work focuses on turning complex information into clear and reliable insights for MTM’s education clients.

Her passion for education began when she volunteered as a teaching assistant at both her dance school and a local elementary school. She brings that same enthusiasm and attention to detail to every project she works on.

Outside the office, Alison expresses her creativity through Ballroom and Latin dance. She competes regularly and recently joined the production team for a local performing arts group, where she enjoys helping behind the scenes.
